Nonsynonymous Mutation

NONSYNONYMOUS MUTATIONS are mutations that alter the amino acid sequence of a protein. A subset of these mutations, not all, modify the final folded protein into a novel shape to alter form and function. These are the mutations evolution demands for morphology.
